well, not sure lah sebenar nya, i dunno if his system is moded either. is just that he has not been Online since the BAN HAMMER struck.
From what i read in the net, the modders claimed that Microsoft detects a moded system from the speed of disc. Copy games and original have different speeds. They have a new modchip sudah onsale but not 100% confident if it could trick Microsoft from banning you.
The modders on the net also stated that even though u r offline, jgn cuba2 main copy games. they could detect it jua as the data is stored in the hard drive. they didnt state (If im not mistaken) however if u play copy games while just connected to live and not having a multiplayer session u get banned.
i tried playing offline with a copy game for anhour, then connect back to live again. waited 1 hari but No ban
In case some of u guys are wondering, i bought a new system and apparently sold off my previous one just to play online and to be safe.
Fyi, memang dari awal i buy original games if the game has a gr8 score and worth it even though my system is moded dulu atu.
b4 i was 70% original - 30% pirate
Since the update i had vow myself to be a 100% original gamer, proudly saying pirate no more (currently applies to the xbox 360 only, hehe)
If u ask me, MUJARAB jua banHammer Microsoft atu, hehe

-very simple, do not use your live account when playing copy game whether u online or not
-make sure that the Lan cable is connected to your x360 is always disconnected if not in use, or if u not around
-even if u have to connect the cable when u want download something, enable background download and most importantly, keep your controller hidden :D
-dont auto-sign your live account, auto-sign other offline account
-and i quickly found myself broke bcoz of original games LoL
Can you make a confirmation on how many people with modded 360's in Brunei who actually got banned? Who knows it may not even be enforced here in Brunei, or Asia,as of yet.Maybe. Hopefully never!hehehe
ive heard of people in other parts of asia having their xboxes banned, so yea it could be affective here as well -- n way to go grog to going original all the way
