xbox 360 brunei online gamers obviously knows about the marketplace. its where u download multiplayer map packs, themes, demos etc, gr8 huh?. But as months past u realize how the gr8nest wears off so quickly as the content is rarely updated. But did u know that not all regions have the same Marketplace?. every region has its own Marketplace, The U.S region obviously has the best downloadable content including HD movies & tv shows, up to date game trailers & demos etc. Notice how Marketplace in our region sucks?.
Jealous with the contents they have, i made an experiment by creating a new account and setting it to U.S locale region. OMG!, it worked, YAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!...........
So as i am typing, i am currently downloading C&C3 demo (1.0 gig), which is not available in our marketplace region and i am planing to download more sweet contents, too good to be true.........
but there is a catch....
- Download times are very slow
- unfortunate you cannot reedem Microsoft points bought around our region (asian)
so wanna know Y we cant reedem?
Microsoft, dengan akal yang bijak block out all microsoft point card purchased outside the U.S region so that we are unable to download the sweet things inside.
say what?, credit card?.
i have researched that too, unfortunately they are able to detect from which region u applied ur credit card (Booooooooooooooooo).
fortunately i have 200 x2 points card that was given free when i purchase d 1yr gold subscription di medinah, luckily the system accepted it. this explains why i was unable to redeem it using my singapore region marketplace earlier.
But the best part is u r still able to download the FREE contents inside the U.S region marketplace, Its slow pulang but better than nothing i should say.
