OK, i know some of u guys here plays FIFA11. So i made this thread if anyone interested join in a league.

I see there is "Friends League" under the "Online Game Modes"

RULES???
No specific rules just yet.
Playing the League matches? Simple... communicate with the player who want to play with... agree on your free times....
You can choose any football club you want.. it doesnt matter if you choose the same team as other league members. but the team you selected will remain for the whole season, so choose wisely.... Lol

Online Connection???
As far as i am concerned.... i have no lags (full 3 green bars) if playing with locals in Brunei...

Anyone interested? if have you read this, please help me and others to spread the word....

since 1 April, have been pretty busy sikit for me.. mainly either due to work and gaming combine.. terlupa pulang kan update to review some new games that i have. well here's what i can say about these games..

JUST CAUSE 2

i got "2" words to say about this game. "SIMPLY AMAZING"

Banar its really is Amazing.. yang the first one was already the bomb.. but this time.. lagi explosive dari pada dulu.. map is so huge.. almost could see the earth curve when your really high in the sky... banyak missions nya kan di buat... and action will be follow by humor on every corner.. pasal nya in Just Cause 2 location nya is some where between indonesia and malaysia... and most of the time you would be laughing due to "BAHASA and PERKATAAN" yang di pakai untuk location-location nama kampung in the game. over all game-play and action are better then before except for minor glitch sikit.. but dont worry it wont spoil the fun of the game..

JUST CAUSE2 Rates: 7.5 out of 10

YAKUZA 3

For Yakuza 3.. i got "3" words to say.. "IT'S TOO MUCH"

pasal nya.. TOO MUCH side missions nya.. and very much repetitive action.. but there's are much improvement then before.. tapi ada jua kala nya feels boring sikit... story line and fight mission are good.. tapi rasa balik2 does makes it feels abit nalih.. mini games are fun.. and side stories keeps popping up.. but non of which bekaitan with the main story.. but the side mission does makes you go round and round in circles sometimes..

Yakuza 3 Rates: 7 out of 10

Final Fantasy XIII

Final Fantasy XIII world was said to be the most beautiful Final Fantasy game and yet is an imperfect but still impressive saga that will touch your heart. Like many other Final Fantasy, they tend to ensemble casts of misfits to the story, but they will excite your spirit, move your heart, and sometimes exasperate you. Amazingly its diverse even they are misfits, yet its an excellent cast of characters.

when we differentiate worlds on every Final Fantasy series its always stunning with its beauty. Final Fantasy XIII is no less then its previous predecessor. Its a great original world almost no similar and every time it is fleshed out by a compelling story through events that occurs.

Game battle system is fun and engaging once all of its elements fall into place, and keeps you pushing forward even when the story makes you laugh in the second bit from time to time. its fast and with simple commands to choose, the battle could end in few seconds. whats more is that you only have to control one character while AI will controls the rest. skill sets are easy to manage from attacking, defending and support. and with a press of a button you even could change which stance to choose. another is the Crystarium, which is a slick-looking net of skills and attribute enhancements that might at first remind you of Final Fantasy X's sphere grid. but with each characters having their own skills set, everything is being lay out straight forwards and simple to get, since there's not need to skip any attribute you don't want.

All and all Final Fantasy XIII is visually good with a good story that will touch your heart. everything is kept simple and enjoyable for everyone to play even to those who are new to Final Fantasy series.

hello all.. well the game that we all have been waiting for have already arrive few days ago.. GOD OF WAR 3 makes is big release world wide launch.

the game was announce 3 years ago i think.. and lots of delays and postpone of launching this game happen.. but finally it was release.. the game is very much awesome... level design is so stunning then ever.. and very much a-lot of surprise on every situation.. enemies are more tough to handle especially the big guys.. even if they are big in size.. they are still agile in movement and attack.. and bosses are even more tough.. puzzles are really interesting especially when the whole map of that level is the puzzle it self..

GOD OF WAR 3 Rates: 9 out of 10

Hey everyone.. yeah from the topic it self.. this game is long over due.. for its review and so on.. and i really have to say it.. the cause of the the over due for me to make its review was this game it self.. cause when i got back from work, I'll be sitting down on my sofa and playing this game..

EA Battlefield Bad Company 2 is REALLY INTENSE!!! TEAMWORK is CRUCIAL, BACK-UP and SUPPORT is MAJOR POINTS for a win of this game.. and really Constant Communication with your teammate is a must.. therefor make sure you have your headset ready and hear people giving orders where enemies are and what to do to achieve domination of victory. and seriously you cant go solo or Rambo in the war and spraying bullets to every enemy you saw.

First up for most i would like to say thank you to kaparo on the previous post. don't worry much bro, i'll help u in updating our blog as much and as frequent as possible.

ok today im gonna be giving a simple review of this EXCLUSIVE PLAYSTATION3 TITLE: HEAVY RAIN.

for start Heavy Rain when it was announce world wide.. it cause a storm and really a storm that everyone cant wait to get their hands on it. and now finally we have it and here's our review of Heavy Rain.. and do not worry there's no spoilers for this review. im just gonna talk about graphics of the game and bit of game play and issues..

Heavy Rain really make us amaze when we started the game.. the characters and environments that happen when a few set of story started was really stunning. everything was highly detailed including the lighting and the most important of all the rain drop on your HD-TV screen (if your using HD TV). the story on the other hand takes you deep into their world and their feeling. its very much emotional and such powerful feeling the more deeper you are into each characters. everything and every decision that you make during game play changes how your story would develop in the future. it adapts every situation that you make. while the story and emotion unfolds, you will realize that all the song plays fits to the feeling and emotion in that situation. story much so intense and very much could cause tension when things goes into action.

the only thing that could get you very much annoyed and stress full a bit about Heavy Rain, is that they are sometimes about the movement controls especially about the direction where you wanted to more. and another is that issues where the game would go stuck during breaks of between characters, but it rarely happens very much.

but all and all. the game really amaze us down to the bones. and very much even with this minor issues.. Heavy Rain is really a must to get.

I've been neglecting this blog for quite a while now. To make this blog alive again, i have given authority to Sinners to post on this blog. The main reason of the lack of updates from me is that I've been shying away from gaming in this past few months. The fact that my PS3 is dying (well sorta) does not help.

Work and life is also catching up to me. I also have other blogs to maintain (including mine). But rest assure, i will still be around; both here and in the forum. hello every one.. just few things to be said.. i think almost every owner of the PS3 (Fat version) having the same problem yesterday. 1/march/2010 mark a Y2K Bug in these console. but some might not be affected but mostly do.. but for Slim Owners they were lucky. the story goes is that the bug is actually the PS3 OS system it self.. where the DATE was the cause. instead of it mark 1/march/2010.. it goes back to 1/January/1999... yeah nineteen-ninety-nine.. the effect of the bug causes everyone not to be able to play any game.. online or offline.. all DLC games wont work either.. this is due to the Trophy on the PSN network wont sync with all the PS3 around the world.. but good thing to say right now every things seems to be alright.. and every thing have been fixed already with a patch.

another thing here is that we wanted to say is about a game that we have been waiting since 23 February 2010.. and still its no where to be found at ETA or EGM. the game that we're talking about here is HEAVY RAIN...

though in the Newspaper we did saw ETA advert saying it will be on stock on Monday.. which is yesterday but still it was no way to be found at all.. we really do hope to get it on day 1 release.. so that we could played it during the 3 days holiday.. but seems all that just gone to waste without it being release due to the fact it was still being held up by the customs.. yeah.. it spoil our mood very much.. and really do wonder if it would ever be available today or not...

another is Battle Field Bad Company 2... releasing today world wide..

we really to hope this to be release today too.. but seeing how Heavy Rain ended up being held by the customs.. we do felt its gonna be late as well.. might be on shelves within a week or two.. i do hope customs could speed up their releasing of packages. its just a Game.. so it shouldn't be taking too long to get it release.. we do know there's tax and so on.. but having to held it more then a week is just not a good thing for business to shop owners. because customers expect to have their items early.. we don't mind items being late a day or two.. but its not good for business if its more then a week...

When BioShock started out few years back.. the story and game play really hook us up. graphics was really great and game play so much along with the story line for any gamer to handle.

but now the BioShock2 takes it to much greater length then the original. alot of improvements and now with multiplayer matches avaliable. this time round the story is largely on the world of Rapture it self. more darker then first and definitely more creepy then ever!!! game play mechanics have been greatly improve feels better and but controls a bit of heavy.. but all of it was fun and a must get.

Dante's Inferno

This game was a surprise for us Bruplay.com. when the Demo got release on the Playstation Network. the game caught us in a storm. its a game to get before the release of God Of War 3. and now the game is out. Dante Inferno is make base on a 14th century poem, where a person journeys thru the 9 circle of HELL. its an action hack n slash kind of game. the world is so enormous and very much i say could make u feel creepy and bit unpleasing cause the games is feature about HELL and a lot of things is really not to your average kind of taste.

The game mechanics in combat is so much fun and bloody too.. since your main weapon is a reaper scythe. but along the way u will gain new weapons. the creature designs is very much vile then your average game that you usually find. thus this is why i say you might get unpleasing.

Rates Dante's Inferno: 7 out of 10.

this game is really a must get. if your an fan of Fahrenheit or better known as Indigo Prophecy. where a movie style game that every action you make could cause a difference in the plot of the game. then this is a must get for you. the Demo is available by accessing precinct52.com but u need to register and try to solve the case to be able to get the code of the Demo. and so far most Bruplay.com Members tried the Demo and we really APPROVE that this game is a must have!!!

Heavy Rain is Set to be release Feb 23, 2010 world wide release.

this game instantly got Bruplay.com APPROVE as a must GET ever since we got our hands on the BETA version. but now a Demo Version is out for the public to download. this game rock our mind. its war, and very much at its best. and also its sad to say but its true.. this game might be a MW2 killer.. some might say it not true and this game is boring and that is alright for us. everyone have their liking. but this game really pumps our adrenalin more then any war games we ever played. its tactical and really not your average RUN and GUN games. Team work and Support is needed at its best for this game.

Another day, another Beta

Thanks to Justin, Like some of us bruplayers, I've also gained entry to the Mod Nation Racers Beta. I gave it a go just now after my download has finished. It looks promising. Although, for me the interface seemed laggy. It is still in Beta stages tho, hopefully these will be ironed out soon.

Anyhu, Coldfront was released the other day and my gad! The Maps are Awesome. Well at least the remake maps. Slant 6, However screw the SOCOMers from region 2 & 3 as the dlc has been delayed to next year for these particular region.

SOCOM IS BACK!!!

Team BRU will once again be Socoming after months of inaction. I've downloaded the 1.60 patch yesterday. The patch was quite good. The inclusion of new weapons is Godly. I just love the new AK-74 for the commandos. And don't get me started on the .50 Cal.

Thumbs up to the bruplayers (Penjejak_Neraka, Jikam & Radio Shaq) who are currently orchestrating and are involve in a FIFA 10 online mini league/tourney organize amongst themselves and other members within bruplay.

FIFA has been on the rise in recent years and have IMHO have taken over the crown from the succesful PES series as THE football game. Hopefully, there shall be a FIFA10 tourney in our country soon.

Recently, i got my hands on Bad Company 2 beta. Wasn't able to play it properly because of exams. But yesterday i was able to session with some of the bruplayers. Boy was it fun! Remember the God of War III demo that was shown at E3 a few months ago. We have it! Thanks to Justin. And thanks to him I'm also in the MAG Beta.

Anyhu, the demo left me wanting for more. It was that damn good. Everything feels just right. The game made you feel like the God of War himself. Can't wait to get the full game next year.

Madness season have begun.

I have already bought two games this past few days; FIFA 10 and Operation Flashpoint 2. Uncharted 2 has landed in Brunei a few days ago; ahead of the schedule release. ETA was the first shop to bring it; albeit they sell it in rape monies :p .

Uncharted or U2 is currently the most sought after PS3 game in the country. And from what i know, if u're looking for the cheapest copy for the game, u could go to Shopping's site. It is far cheaper than the other game shops here.

Many more games will be released soon, and to make sure that people have the money to spend on buying these games; many have been busy with posting adverts to sell their old games. You could find these adverts on the forum here.

First of all, i would like to apologize again for the lack of updates here. Busy Busy Busy with Uni stuffs. As I've promised, i will post a little bit about the summer madness that will hit some of us in the next few weeks.

As you know, many good games have been released recently. This include, Guitar Hero 5 (If u're into GH that is), The Beatles Rockband and Batman's new game . The game devs. has also released numerous demos over at the PSN and Xbox live store respectively to wet our appetite. I've recently downloaded demos for FIFA 10, Dirt 2, WET and Katamari forever. I would recommend all of them except for WET. Maybe it's just me but i think the game needs some polishing up to do. It doesn't feel like its a game made by Bethesda, which has produced some top notch games in the past.

Anyways, There is lots and lots of games that people like me "need" to buy this coming weeks. I'm pretty sure. i'll be broke brabis cum november nanti. Games like; Uncharted 2, Halo ODST, OFP2, GT: PSP and many more will drain your wallet dry. **Local shops will rape your wallet especially with highly anticipated games such as Uncharted 2 and PES 2010.

They will rape it hard. . . .*cough* *PS3 Slim* *cough*

An update on the SOCOM league

Last week,

bruPlay SOCOM team played their first SOCOM match in the league. It was against Team Kamen Riders. It was 4 v 4 Demolition match. We loss that match 4 - 1. Nevertheless, the match was still fun.

The bruPlayers for that match was: Me (Kaparo), Justin, Eddie and Yusrano

Just know, bruPlay SOCOM team played their second match so far against Dragon Inc. It was an elimination match. This time around our bruPlay SOCOM team managed to defeat the opposition 2 - 0 in an intense match. It was perhaps one of the most tactical match i've played. 5 drew rounds happened during the match as no one wanted to lose a point. Anyhu, it was a very good game. Looking foward towards our game next week.

Malaysia SOCOM league

And thanks again to the brothers at Gamerzunited for inviting us to their league.

Brunei Cyber Games update. . . again

Just wanna inform you guys that bruPlay.com will be handling COD4 PS3 tournament during next week's BCG. The two other events in the console arena, Rockband and PES (winning 11) will not be handle by us but as usual handled by the team from RanoAdidas.

Regarding the registration, from what i heard it will start tomorrow at the usual place @ Cineplex Mall. Regarding entry fees to COD4 (PS3), it will be $10 per person. As for other tournaments/games/prizes, please refer to RanoAdidas.

I forgot to mention in the previous post, TDM or Team Deathmatch format will not be used for this edition. It's out of our hand, sorry. Instead, the basic FFA gameplay will make a return to next week's BCG.

PC gaming is expected to return in this BCG and is handled by another party.

4th Brunei Cyber Games 2009

The Brunei Cyber Games will be held at the ICC this 25th of June until the 28th in conjunction with the Consumer Fair @ ICC. bruPlay is once again invited by RanoAdidas to help officiate & organize the event especially in the PS3 front.

The three console games that will be present at this month BCG are*:

Pro Evolution Soccer
Rock Band 2
COD4

It is also important to note that PC will make its comeback in this edition of BCG. That will be handled by another group, not by bruPlay.

COD4 format tournament format will be Team Deathmatch (4 V 4)*

First of all sorry for the late updates on the Nintendo & Sony press conferences on E3. I need my sleep =)

NINTENDO E3 2009

Highlights of what happened

Nintendo showcased a brand new Super Mario Brothers for the wii which focuses on Coop. 4 players can now play simultaneously

Introduced WiiFit +

They again demoed the Wii motion + with the Wii sport resort game just as last year's E3.

Sales boasting =) (Market leaders)

Wii Vitality sensor. . . A what? I don't know how will this translate to gaming since the device need to be on your pointing finger all the time, but it would be interesting to see what Nintendo can do with this

Showcased a couple of new games for their platform, one of which is the Golden Sun. Dead space extraction is also mentioned as an exclusive for the Wii.

Last but not least; Nintendo teased two upcoming Mega games for the Wii; Metroid the other M (developed by Team Ninja and Nintendo) and Super Mario Galaxy 2

PLAYSTATION E3 2009

This was perhaps the best presentation amongst the big 3 companies. Here's the highlights of what had happened.

PS2 boasting time. Yup, PS2 still exists. ZOMG!

Introduced the PSP Go. A newer version of the PSP which now focuses on digital media. Also Introduced Media Go.

Showcased games that is coming for the PSP. The notable games are Resident Evil portable, Gran Turismo portable, LBP portable and more. Lets not forget about the Hannah Montana game :o

Metal Gear Solid: Peace walker was announced for the PSP. The true sequel/prequel to the MGS series!

Showcased the first single player gameplay of the upcoming game by Naughty Dog; Uncharted 2: Amongst thieves. IT WAS THE BOMB!!!

Showcased a couple of games for the PS3 such as Assasin's Creed 2 which have some exclusive contents for the PS3. GT5 trailer was also unveiled with its newly acquired WRC and Nascar licenses. And much-much more

Announced 3 new exclusive games; Modnation racers: just imagine LBP with go-karts, Agent: A game developed by R* North set in the 1970s and Final Fantansy 14!!!!!!!!!. . . . . . online

Finally revealed the motion controller for the PS3. My first impression of it was meh~ "this is going to fail" as the presentors was visually nervous but as the presentation went along with their tech demoes, I saw that this thing was really precise. Can't wait for the games that will be developed for it.

Dropped another set of Megatons, in showcasing the new trailer for Team ICO latest project; The Last Guardian. This game will make people cry like babies!

E3 2009 - Microsoft

MICROSOFT E3 2009

Here's some of the highlights what happened during the presentation through my perspective:

Microsoft debuted "Project Natal" - In my opinion this could change the face of gaming as we know it. Its a revolutionary concept where you play games without the need of a control. The games that was shown in the earlier demo was meh~ apart from the paint thingy. But what amazes me was project "Milo" which was headed by Lion head studios. There is only one word to describe it; Revolutionary.

Metal Gear confirmed for the 360 - This is perhaps a shocking move by Kojima but it was rather anticipated. Metal Gear Rising will be making its way to the 360, but assuming it was not announced as an exclusive, a PS3 version is also expected.

Other than that, the presentation showed off some games such as Alan Wake, the new Splinter Cell, Forza 3, L4D 2 and others. Amongst them, i say Splinter Cell conviction is perhaps the one that stands out the most. Yes people, Sam Fisher is back!

The dreaded Yellow light of death

Despite having a much lesser failure rate than the 360, the PS3 also have its share of hardware issues. And one of them has come knocking on my door. Just yesterday, My PS3 got the infamous YLOD. So much for my summer holiday.

There's nothing much you could do, when u YLOD~ed ur system here in Brunei. The local gaming shops do not even have technicians that can solve the issue. The only real option is to send it to Sony Singapore and pay them for a fix or send them to a "capable" technician. However, some bruPlayers have fixed their YLOD~ed PS3s. For further info, pls refer to the forum or here.

Through a process of reflowing the GPU and applying a new thermal paste, you could fix the YLOD. I will attempt this process in a couple of week time as I've yet to attain the materials to carry out the operation. However, this process is merely a temporary fix. So to all of you PS3 users out there, do take good care of your system. Keep it in a well ventilated place and free from dust.

bruPlay's 2nd Anniversary

Alhamdullilah, the celebration event was successful. Jaded_Munky was awarded the title bruPlayer of the year. A lot of bruPlay members came for the event. A big shout out to all who came.

The activities that were held during the event ranges from a small slideshow presentation of bruPlay.com's (formerly brugamer.com) history to playing rockband on a small stage. Overall we had much fun. Jehuty was doing his thing, We play Rockband out loud, People got their asses kick in SFIV and much-much more. We even managed to watch the first half of DPMM's match against SAF for Free. And let us not forget the special appearence by Xzibit :P

bruPlay.com have achieved a lot prior to its 2nd Anniversary. We have co-organized the Brunei Cyber Games; We became the eyes of the gaming world when we shocked them with our "running man" routine at Home and we have become one of the leading bodies in Brunei's gaming spectrum. All within a time span of two years!

Let us hope bruPlay.com will achieve more in the coming future.

bruPlay's Killzone

One month have past since the release of Killzone 2. A month of heavy Killzoning with the lads from bruPlay. A month of heavy fragging and bragging. Killzone is a must have game for every Playstation 3 owner in Brunei! and the whole world! It has excellent graphics and audio plus great online replay value. This is surely one of the best looking game of all time.

A plus point for me in the online "warzone" is the Valor medal system. If i'm not mistaken, there's about 4 valor medal class that is contested weekly. The 10%, 6%, 3% and the hardcore 1%. The valor medal system ranked a player based on weekly performance. Let's say u're top 3% of online players of the previous week, then you got the 3% medal. So far only me and Nixin have achieved the coveted 1% valor medal.

Since bruPlay.com is a big community, we actually have to split our Killzone 2 clan into two seperate entites. This is done so we can manage the clan more effectively and efficiently. Currently there's about a total of 30 person from both of bruPlay's clan. The two clans are:

Greetings

I am Mohd Raihan. My bruPlay identity is Kiudangman while my Playstation network ID is Kaparo13. Thanks to Roger, i'll be contributing this blog from now on. However, it is important to note that any articles published by me may not necessarily reflect the general view of the bruPlay community.

The state of PS3 gaming in Brunei

Playstation and Sony is a household name in Brunei. When people talk about playstation, people will think about games. Back in the day, almost every house in Brunei had a playstation console. Be it PS1 or PS2, it is almost mandatory for a household to have one to keep the young ones entertained.

Then the 7th generation gaming consoles arrived (PS3, Wii and 360)

As anticipated the prices of these beast were high upon release. In certain shops here in Brunei, the PS3 may even cost you more than $1200. That was way back in late 2006. Thankfully, the price now has dropped to about $600-$800 after about 2 years in the market.

Currently the PS3 has a very small but loyal following. Compare and contrast that during the PS1 and PS2 Era; The amount of PS3 owners is much less. This is mainly because the PS3 currently do not have the ability to play "pirated" games. In my opinion that is a very good thing.

However, the amount of PS3 gamers/owners is still growing. The next gen or should i say the current gen have attracted more gamers especially from the 'mature' audience. The advent of online gaming in the 7th generation have attracted more customers. Of course this is a very good thing, as more and more games are now online multi-player based.

The gaming world change (for me at least) when i was able to play with people from across the world. Then through bruPlay (formerly brugamer) I've managed to be friends with other fellow online gamers. This was a major advantage for having a PS3 or 360. Games like COD4, Killzone2 and SOCOM are games that is currently being played by the bruPlay community and i believe we will still play them in the future.

In summary, Despite a slow start the PS3 is gaining momentum. This is mainly because the console is becoming more and more affordable and the attraction of online gaming grew extensively.

So if you currently don't own a PS3; save your money, buy it and get connected.

its been a while since ive updated this space..

its been hard to catch up with work on the way...

it would be a miracle if someone who can be committed with 2 -3 things at a time..

bruplay.com has been around for quite sometime...

it all started here

bruplay.com (formerly: brugamer.com) however existed since 28th april 2007 and its MAIN aim "to seek brunei online players"..

it started taking off since after our first event. "the 1st Brunei XBOX360 meet @ west street cafe, mall" on the 30/12/2007 fully sponsored by ETA games..

slowly but surely, the community slowly creates awareness on the existence of bruneian original hardcore gamers by making appearances at BCG (BRUNEI CYBER GAMES) which is organized yearly by RANOADIDAS.COM by showcasing current HOT games....

since then, bruplay.com slowly evolves it self to become a more community based gaming site...

on 24th JANUARY 2008, the community officially renames it self to bruplay.com (foremerly brugamer.com) and launches its FORUM site...

as it is now..., bruplay.com is more than just gaming...

its where all local gamers socialize & putting every gamers in the know..

CURRENTLY, bruplay.com has found 83 ps3 online players, 50 xbox 360 online players & 6 wii online players (as of 4/2/2009).

bruplay.com's recent breakthrough was the BCG 3 event where the community CO-organized the event with RANOADIDAS.COM...

it has been one hell of a ride..., in less then 2 years the community has achieve so much that even myself couldn't handle...

i gotta give credit to all the CORE MEMBERS who has been supporting this community since then..

without you guyz.., bruplay.com wont be standing as it is now..

as of 1st of march.., this blogsite will be officially changed to "info-bruplay.blogspot.com"...

i wont be feeding any public news etc..

as for the ID's/Gamertags, ill be updating it from time to time..

Rock Band Tournament

Thursday, Friday and Saturday 4pm.

Registration Fee = $35 per band

Rules & Regulation

This tournament will be played on the PS3 version of Rock Band.
The game used will be Rock Band 2 game but with Rock Band music selection.
difficulty is set to "MEDIUM" throughout the tournament
Guitars, drum kit and microphone will be provided by the organiser.
Gameplay will be head to head band matches.
Each band is comprised of 5 members only (1 substitute).
Bands are not allowed to have a band member sing and play an instrument at the same time.
Band members can switch instruments before each song.
Players themselves are responsible for the calibration of the Rock Band equipment before playing.
There will be a qualifying round (Group Stage), consisting of two song, to rank all bands.
Players will be randomly placed on the group stage.

First Round

The song for the first round has been set, CREEP by RADIOHEAD and WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE by BON JOVI
The first round will consist of a group with 4/5 band
The best 2 bands that scores high base on playing 2 songs advances to the next round

All subsequent Rounds after first round

The songs to be played are to be informed on the spot just before play
A knock-out single elimination will commence
A single song duel, highest score advances to the next round
In the case of a TV or Playstation 3 malfunctions, the game will be restarted.
The organisers reserve the right to change or amend the tournament and/or these rules and regulations at any stage as it sees fit.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Free-For-All (FFA) Tournament

Thursday, Friday, Saturday 5pm

Registration Fee = $15 per person

Rules & Regulation

Call of Duty 4 Free-For-All Tournament (FFA) will follow a single elimination knockout or league format depending on number of registered players.
Players will be drawn at random into groups of 8 to compete in the free for all.
Organizers has the right to choose the MAPS.
Playstation 3 consoles will be provided for tournament matches. Players may not use their own Playstation 3 consoles in the tournament and may not use the tournament Playstation 3 consoles to practice.
Players may provide their own wired Playstation 3 controller for match play. No controllers with wireless or turbo capabilities or programmable buttons will be allowed inside the tournament area. Installation and functionality of such devices are the sole responsibility of the player. No software or storage device is allowed to be brought into the tournament area.
Players are allowed to change the controller configuration, at the discretion of a Tournament Official.
Any form of cheating, including but not limited to intentional disconnects, server crashing, etc., will result in immediate disqualification of the competitor. If you have a question regarding a particular tactic, ask a tournament official prior to the match.
In the case of a TV or Playstation 3 malfunctions, the game will be restarted if less than 5 minutes has passed. If more than 5 minutes has elapsed then the tournament referee will make an informed decision based on the scores at the time of disconnection.
A draw will be decided on where the player’s sit for each stage.
At the end of a match, players are ranked according to the combined scores accumulated over the maps played. The in-game scoreboard will display each round's results according to kills/frags attained. The player with the most kills will be ranked first and so on.
In the event of a tie score, the organizer will refer to the KILL DEATH RATIO.
The organisers reserve the right to change or amend the tournament and/or these rules and regulations at any stage as it sees fit.

All matches will be eight (8) players FFA rounds

PLAN A (16 players)
First Round:

Bottom 2 out of 8 will be eliminated
Top 6 proceed to the second round

Second Round:

Bottom 2 out 6 will be eliminated
Top 4 proceed to next round
Tiebreakers will be determined in the following order: Points, Kills, Deaths

PLAN B (more than 16 players)
Group Stage Ladder System

Each group will be playing 2 rounds
Score will be based on Points, Kill and Death
After the group match is finish, all players from each group will be united and ranks will be given to each playing based on Points, Kill and Death. Top 16 will advance to the Semi Final

i (accompanied by LOCO) had a meeting kelamarin with RANO regarding the upcoming BCG III 2009 which is going to held on 8th - 11th January 2009 at ICC in conjunction with CONSUMER FOOD FAIR 2009

games that are in for the BCG III are as follows:

PRO EVOLUTION 2009 (PlayStation 2 & 3)

CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE (PlayStation 3)

ROCK BAND (PlayStation 3)

this will be another stepping stone for us as we are going to be fully handling tournaments on the current generation side (PS3)

so how are we (bruplay.com) going to do this??

RANO stated that he needed 8 PS3 consoles for BCG

ive talked this through sama RANO and decided that SESIAPA WILLING TO RENT HIS/HER PS3 CONSOLE AKAN DIBAYAR BND$100 EACH FOR 4 DAYS

for your info jua, PS3 systems will not be used the whole day...

rough estimation of at least 3 - 4 hrs day time and 3 - 4 hrs as well during malam..

RANO also decided that it is up to us to set the rules on both COD4 & RB..

so far it has been decided that full 8 console will be used for COD4, the game mode will be free for all. WE NEED TO RUN A TRIAL AND ERROR for this again like last time just to see if theres any flaws....

it has been proposed that the max numbers of participants to enter is 10 bands. the theme will be ROCK. 5 final bands will compete for the finals..., there is going to be a special stage for RB equipped with sound system...

ive talked sama loco di mlm and decided to have our first trial and error + BCG meeting + BBQ meeting this friday at 4pm di umah LOCO,we need to have 8 consoles on the trial so pandai2lah kamu berunding sapa kan bawa..

another thing, the BBQ yearly gathering on 27hb at my crib is still a go..., and im gonna continue kumpul usin d umah loco lagi this friday, 4pm, $10 each.., sapa inda blaku bayar on dat day but kan datang 27hb plz contact me personally..
